How Ordering PROSTOX Online Works

Place an order in our provider portal.

Collect the patient’s sample or have MiraDx ship a kit to the patient.

Return sample to lab with prepaid label.

Results will be in the portal 5-7 business days after the lab recieves the sample.

What type of sample do I need to collect from patients?

This is a buccal swab that you can either collect from patients during their appointment, or we can ship the kit directly to a patient’s home, and they can self-swab. Follow the instructions below and swab the inside of the gum line, place the swab in the vial, and then into the biohazard bag. Watch video here.

We require that you put 2 patient identifiers on the tube (i.e., name, DOB, phone number, etc.), not covering the barcode, if you swab patients in office.
